David Whitfield
David's career started in communications electronics, where he worked as a development engineer before progressing through sales, marketing and management, finally leading a major division of a multi-national company. He is a fluent German speaker and has much experience of European, American and Asian cultures and working practices.
An experienced, innovative change leader, David has proven ability to grow people and build exceptional teams. As a consultant with AXIS, David draws on this experience to help both individuals and organisations reach peak performance.
David heads up our Communications Consultancy division which draws equally from his earlier career in communications electronics and his more recent work in personal communication and organisational change.
David undertakes a number of Executive Coaching assignments with AXIS. He has a fervent belief in people and their abilities and is fascinated by interpersonal communications and its effect on team and company performance. He is a High Performance Coach and Certified Master Practitioner of NLP.
